At bg3dprint.com we believe in transparency. We are the only ones who tell you the price per gram. No hidden "machine-time" fees. You only pay for the material that ends up in your part + supports.
How is the price calculated?
We optimise our process to offer the best price in Bulgaria. The final cost depends on four factors:
Technology
FDM is the most cost-effective for functional parts. SLA delivers high detail for fine models.
Material
From standard PLA and ABS to engineering PA6-CF, PC and specialty resins — pricing varies significantly.
Infill density
Typically 15–20% for prototypes, 100% for load-bearing end-use parts. Directly affects strength and cost.
Post-processing
Cleaning, sanding, painting, threaded inserts, magnets, fasteners — added on demand.
Same model, two different materials
Real print of the handle-1 reference part — compare the surface finish and texture between a standard and an engineering material.
Smooth finish, fine layers, premium look for prototypes and end-use parts.
Industrial matte texture, high strength and heat resistance for load-bearing parts.

- A larger nozzle (0.8mm) reduces print time and cost but lowers fine detail.
For series production FDM pricing drops to €35/kg — a real alternative to injection moulding, with no expensive tooling!
